What does it mean to be a leader?
What skills do you have to have to be an effective leader?
If you are an effective leader in change…what could you achieve? For yourself and others?
How well are you able to direct yourself and others to the outcomes you would like to achieve?
I’m inviting you to step into an inquiry where you can discover new tools and distinctions to become a more effective leader in change if you apply the learning.
In our experience, if you want to achieve and get the results you want in life or business, you have to step into a leadership role. It’s not just about directing a group of people but being able to direct your focus to what you want to achieve.
You may feel that you dont know what you want; then would it not be useful to learn how to gain more clarity?
You may feel that you want to learn how to be leading in an area of your life because you have a message or projects that you want to achieve?
You may already be in charge of teams or a business; then would it be useful to refresh and re-remember and even contribute?
You will gain the skills by attending the calls.
In case you don’t know me, I am Laila Edge, the co-founder of Systemic Growth and TheNextGenIT.com.
A few weeks ago, I delivered a workshop on scalability for Barclays Eagle Labs in Bournemouth, helping entrepreneurs and business owners see what strategies and tools are available.
This week, my company won a 5-figure contract to deliver project management services.
In the past year, I have been on my own entrepreneurial journey after working 20 years in corporate IT and technology companies.
This past year, I have been speaking in front of hundreds of people.
I have travelled around the world and combining it with my work and helping clients.
At the same time, I have been able to spend more time with my six-year old son because I have built my business and initiatives around him.
The initiative TheNextGenIT.com helps other parents preparing their kids for the digital future; a parent called it the scouts movement for the digital age. And my son gets to help out at events and workshops – and see his mum work.
But what brings it home for me, how I measure success in my life, was that I was able to watch my son perform at his nativity play, which was held in the middle of the day on a work day.
Where I was working before in my corporate life, I didn’t have that possibility.
Having the freedom of deciding what I do with my own time.
To me, that is priceless.
